That doesnt sound good. Is that with the lockout lever all the way unlocked?
The shorter stem will speed up the steering a bit but it shouldnt become to twitchy.

jusr sounds like a typical Giant to me If only it wasnt coming true for me Time to learn how to wrench a treadly and get it sorted. Positive note however I've been having troubles walking the last few days after killling myself on it, if I keep this up will make a serious impact.
