I think we need a name change to South Coast Vstrom road and dirt. ;D Especially if the tally goes up to 5 in the coming months Atleast with oxyviva the KTM Adv count is up to 2 And I may be wrong but I think we have 2 if not 3 Suzuki GS500's as well. Gaz

G'day Again! Yep Garry you don't have to be suspicious any longer. I have purchased a Wee-Strom. At this stage of my life, I don’t feel the need to have some big thumping bike (well at this stage anyway however,,,, I look the look of the 1000 DL V-Strom).
I just ordered a radiator guard, crash bars and a skid plate for it the other day. I looking forward to fitting them. I get nervous about the vulnerability of the oil filter. It needs protection. See Yers Rod

Who's gear did you order (Givi, Hepco&Bakker, SW-Motech etc).
Mine has full SW-Motech gear on it and as Greg (Wobbler) will attest, the bashplate sure gets a workout on mine.
Look forward to a ride sometime soon (calling Greg, looks like we need another of those bush bashing specials of yours).

Just out of interest Gaz, who did you buy your gear from (i.e. SW-Motech)?

Nah, most was on it when I bought it from a mate of Wobblers (only had 1500 kays on it). The only thing I have added is the bashplate which I had to get the SW-Motech one to match the bars. I got it from Norrus in Qld and only found out about the other guy after forking out about $30 more. Gaz

Fitted the radiator guard and crashbars last Wednesday arvo (Thursday and Friday were my days off this week) couldn't get the skid plate on till this evening after I got home from work, due to the wet weather we've had. I'm looking forward to having a ride to see if the gear has affected the feel of the bike. I read in the Strom Troopers forum that one person wasn't happy with the crashbars due to the fact that it made the bike vibrate. Gaz[/quote]
