Howdy all new members and welcome to SCRAD.
Hopefully you will find us friendly enough (well, except for me) and join us on our rides in the future.
Or, just post up your own ride and see if others come along, you never know.
Look forward to meeting up with everyone.

cheers wobbler, by the way thanks for the Lycra comment, does it have to follow me everywhere? Next time you overtake me, try and stay on your bike, not 20 meters back on the road where it kicked you off..... obviously you love the tar too much. maybe we should swap bikes, I'll have your KTM, you can have the 250 something easier to handle....
love ya mate.

Hi all, My name is Rob and I live in St Georges Basin, and have just bought my 3rd bike......a brand new Wee Strom. (Givi luggage deal sold me, but gotta wait for more stock to come in). Means I get to enjoy the bike naked. I'm running it in at the moment and also getting use to riding again since I sold my last bike 4 years ago when my 1st child arrived. Feels good to be riding again. My last bike I had was a RMX250, and before that an XT250. I look forward to exploring the area both on sealed and dirt roads in the near future. Only picked up the bike yesterday and being still sparkling in appearance....have resisted the urge to wander down dirt tracks to see how well she performs off road. It's gonna have to get dirty sometime but! The bike only has 140kms on it, I guess thats not too bad since I only got it yesterday! I hope to do some group rides soon.
Regards,
Rob

As for getting it dirty, well come along with Wobbler and myself anytime you wants as my Wee often leaves its marks as we explore a few of the trails down that way. And I say, the dirtier the better Garry

Thanks mate. I will for sure. Once I have shown the beast to people at work, I will then get her truly christened on the dirt, more & likely down the track just after Ewrol Bay turn off that cuts the corner onto the Wool Rd. I can't wait until the bike is run in! I am going to do an advanced rider course since it has been a few years since I had my last bike. The basic & intermediate courses I did years ago were awesome. I thought I new everything about riding a bike, then i did the course, and realized i didn't know everything. Another main reason why I am going to do this course is that my employer will pay for it whilst I do it in work time. I think its going to be held on the runway at Albatross or Jervis Bay Airfield. Anyway, sorry to ramble on, see you all on the road very soon.
Cheers,
Rob
