If its this one:- Then yes its ugly, but like the bmw gs its oddball enough to pull it off. Is a bike I would be interested in owning, but its a long way down the list. If its one of these I take it all back, there are no redeeming qualities there.

Well, I though I'd try a few free sites first. If I haven't had any offers by the end of the month I'll drop the price and put it on FleaBay and BikePoint/BikeSales.

this one mate, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, in a ducati its much deeper than the skin, read the tech specs, then compare with the BMW or Triumph, Suzuki etc, Duck comes out on top for me Yes, I could buy something cheaper, an ST3/s etc, but not prepared to roll the dice on a used one.

Well, she finally sold, and for a little less than I hoped. Not to worry. I hope the next owner gets as much fun out of The Little Blue Plastic Bike as I did. Carolyn

I'm going back to a BMW after a 10 year fling with little Japanese twins The new bike is a 2010 R1200GS. The price was too good not to buy and it comes with a whole heap of extras. I'm buying it from a friend who is upgrading to the new water-cooled 1200.

Sounds like much better bike for road touring with a touch of dirt. Throw up some pics when you get it.

Finally remembered to take a pic. Here's my new GS. She's a bit of a heffalump, but at least the GS weighs a good 20kg less than my old K100RT. Seat height is surprisingly OK, I'm glad I don't have to go to the trouble and expense of getting the super low seat. I'll try her out on the dirt over Easter. I'll start off gently on the Wee Jasper road and see how it goes. LOL - the bike will be fine, it's only my lack of off-road skills that will be the problem.
