Yep could have got a second hand dr for the cost of this build.
Did think about it and have ridden a well sorted dr with engine work, would be more likely to go for a 690 or husky though.
Answer is to get them to the stage I have this one with ergos, suspension, protection etc etc just not worth it. Feel will have a better bike especially with the upgrades to power, brakes and weight of this build.

Hang on, I thought it must have been a clause in the sales agreement for drs that you must either sell within 2 years or keep it until its completely stuffed?

Thanks mate, if I stop doing silly things like loosing thrust washers it probably will sound good (I hope it not too loud though ).
