cant comment on postie, but if you want an adventure the Navy's pretty good, plus the pay aint bad either.
now before wobbler carries on, there are loads of different trades and if your not so keen on sea time, birdy (aviation technician) is the way to go.
there, done my bit for RAN recruiting ;D

only as old as the woman your feeling.... just make sure she and ya wife never meet seriously though, if your 45 or under (under review i think), they would take you in a heartbeat..... and with the flat decks (LHDs)(aircraft carriers) coming in, they need everyone they can get to fill positions, honestly if your good with a spanner and relatively fit (no laughing you lot that have seen me ) you'd be a shoe in. bloody hell, I should be getting paid to do this (thats right, I am :

the movie STRIPES comes to mind ... lol
Ive been an IT Systems Engineer for 10 years, and in IT for about 16 yrs, but this local mob want me to be a junior helpdesk type ... but asking me to do more engineering stuff but not pay or recognise that ... so getting sick of IT ...
...maybe a streetsweeper would suit.....or chimney sweep, or garbage truck driver .... i hear all these guys get paid more than i do now ... OMG>
>>> think the Navy would be a bit hard to take after so many years not being in Military.
