Is there a race meeting on Sunday or just practice on Saturday? Nepean is practice Saturday only. No racing until the week after I think Gaz

There was some talk over dinner tonight about going out to Woodstock anyway. The annual Cowra Festival is on, and there's a parade ! (yip yip).
If common sense prevails and we don't go, I'll pop out to Nepean for sure.

I think it is around $50 for the day which will be more than Cowra but at least you get a practice. Well at least you can use practice ast he excuse for needing to go there and not to the parade you sound so excited about Gaz

Ok, well I won't be there on Saturday as something else has come along to spoil the party, so those going out to watch this fat whale go around (was there one of you at least) can forget it. Will do it another day.

Will do it another day. Our trip to the Cowra Festival has been cancelled due to lack of interest (phew !), so I was planning to drop by Nepean for a while. Might still go if I can get the CRF ready (change rubber), otherwise I'll have no alternative but to spend quality time with the family.

Just will depend on how Michelle's surgery tomorrow goes and whether or not the racing happens (Whitey?). Mind you, even if no racing we can still have an enjoyable ride. Gaz

The practice day on March 15th was cancelled due to lack of water, but they assure me that the March 29th round is a goer.
You guys planning to ride up on the day, or do an overnighter ?

A couple of (mostly) dirty routes from Taralga to Woodstock. Nothing tricky, just a nice ride in the country. Route 1Route 2I'll be at the track on Saturday morning (28th) - daughter Kristen is doing her "kick start" practical for her MA license. There's also a Junior speedway meet on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, practice starts at 9:30AM - racing a couple of hours later. It won't be hard to find me, I'll be the nervous looking one.

Thanks Whitey sounds good. See you on Sundayweek, Good luck.
Gary,
Do you want to organize a route, meet time and place and accommodation for Sat night.
My suggestion of Carcoar was a throw out to see line. Im ok to stay at Cowra or anywhere else.

Those routes look good Whitey but I have dropped to a possible as it will depend on just how big a hit the surgeons, anesthetists and hospital cause when we gets the bills for Michelle's knee surgery yesterday.
So, I am a possible for 31/3 but want to get there to watch when possible so do stay tuned.
On a sidenote, you still doing the motard ride days?

OK Gaz, I hope Michelle's surgery achieves the desired result.
Only managed to make one of the motard ride days so far, and it got rained out when a thunderstorm came through. I'd like to do more, but they are somewhat infrequent and usually held on weekdays, which doesn't always fit in with work. I'll let you know when I'm doing another one.

Ok, well I am definitely out of going away anywhere this weekend that would require an overnight stay (have some things that have just come up), so will need to race the Whitey Racing Team another day.
Sorry John, not sure if you will still head though.
